Since berries are all the buzz, I pulled out the blender tonight to try and create a fabulous smoothie that would appeal to the family but also destroy all those anti-memory toxins building up in my middle age brain. The recipe was a hit:
1/2 cup yogurt
3/4 cup milk
ripe bananna
frozen mixed berries
2 tsp. honey
Mix the yogurt, milk and bananna first. Once the mixture is smooth add the berries and honey.
It was totally delicious and popular with everyone – plus it was good for my brain. It doesn’t get much better than that.
