Dr. Tim Lau, geriatric psychiatrist at the Royal Ottawa Mental Health unit has been speaking all around the country on the topic of happiness…so much so that he now has the moniker ‘The Happiness Doctor‘. He has looked in-depth at the whole idea of happiness and drawn lessons from his patients and his research which he shares with me in this interview series.

In this first interview we talk about the definition of happiness and Dr. Lau answers the question: Can money buy you happiness? We all know the answer that springs to our lips – ‘no’ but as Dr. Lau points out that answer is not exactly correct. Watch the interview to find out how much money it takes to ‘buy happiness’.
