Why I Do What I Do

On Friday I had the delightful opportunity to work with a number of individuals who were finishing up our Fit Minds Cognitive Coach Certification course. We spent the afternoon reviewing the materials and the Interact program. They all had different reasons for taking the course – some for their own work and some because they had family or friends that were afflicted by Alzheimer’s disease or a form of dementia. What struck me as most compelling was the depth of caring and passion to help that these individuals had for the individuals they worked with. It reminds me why I do what I do.
